Public Mobile Offers Discounted 80GB Canada-US-Mexico Plan: How to Get It
Telus-owned Public Mobile has rolled out a new limited-time offer for existing customers—a $45 plan that includes 80GB of 5G data usable across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.
If you sign into your account you should see the plan being offered if you’re eligible. Just head over to the Subscriptions & Add-Ons tab, then click on ‘change subscription’ and you’ll see your options.
The plan provides data speeds up to 250 Mbps, plus unlimited calling and messaging within those three countries. It also comes with unlimited international text and picture messaging and 1,000 long-distance minutes each month to China, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Taiwan, and the U.K.
Subscribers earn $0.90 per month in Public Points (which were of course recently reduced in value), and standard features like call display, voicemail, call waiting, call forwarding, and conference calling are included. Check out our screenshot below:
Other offers Public Mobile is showing to some existing subscribers include:
- $30/10GB 4G
- $34/20GB 5G
- $40/50GB 5G Canada-US + 500 LD minutes
- $40/60GB 5G Canada-US-Mexico
- $50/100GB 5G Canada-US-Mexico + 2000 LD minutes
Just weeks ago, Public Mobile brought back its $50/80GB Canada-US-Mexico plan on its website (without 1000 LD minutes). So this deal for existing customers just offers $5/month off and 1,000 long distance minutes. It’s not exactly a hot deal.
Here are Public Mobile’s current plans:
4G Speed Plans
5G Speed Plans
- $35/15GB Canada
- $40/40GB Canada-US-Mexico
- $45/60GB Canada-US-Mexico

With Black Friday deals around the corner, it might be worth waiting to see if even better offers appear before switching plans.
