Apple has announced a new batch of games coming to Apple Arcade this holiday season, headlined by SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2, the sequel to one of the gaming service’s biggest hits. The new title launches December 4, alongside several other major additions.
In SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2, SpongeBob teams up with Plankton on a new mission to recover the Krusty Krab’s missing fry cook station and save Bikini Bottom. Players can switch between SpongeBob and Plankton, each with their own abilities, and play in local co-op mode across familiar locations like Goo Lagoon and Dead Eye Gulch.
Alongside SpongeBob’s return, Apple Arcade is adding several other new games over the coming weeks.

Apple also highlighted an update to fan-favourite Sneaky Sasquatch, which now includes a farming town expansion where players can plant crops and ride tractors.
Apple Arcade costs $8.99 CAD per month with a one-month free trial, or comes included in Apple One subscription bundles. The service offers more than 200 games across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Vision Pro, with no ads or in-app purchases.
