TikTok’s Bulletin Board Feature Gives Creators a Direct Line to Fans

TikTok is introducing bulletin board, a new in-app channel that lets creators send direct updates to their followers in a more organized way. Instead of relying on regular posts or livestreams, creators can use a bulletin board to share quick announcements, news, or exclusive content that appears in a dedicated space their fans can join.

Once someone subscribes to a creator’s bulletin board, they’ll get inbox notifications whenever a new update is posted, and they can react with emojis. So this is yet another way to stay glued to your favourite creators.

Creators can start a bulletin board from their inbox and choose whether the board shows publicly on their profile. They can also give it a custom name. Fans can join by tapping the bulletin board listed under the creator’s bio.

TikTok tested the feature with musicians, publishers, and brands, who used it to share everything from new song releases to team updates. All posts still follow TikTok’s Community Guidelines, and standard tools like blocking and reporting are available.

The rollout begins globally for creators who are 18+ and have 50,000 followers or more, giving larger accounts a new way to send direct updates without relying on comments or DMs.
