Rogers Sets End Date for 25GB Bonus Data on Black Friday Plan

Rogers has updated its website this afternoon to set an end date for a data bonus on its select Black Friday plans.

The $85/200GB plan with Canada and US talk, text and data now has a label to say the 25GB bonus data will end on December 1, which is Cyber Monday. Last week, we told you Rogers added this 25GB bonus to match Bell’s same plan.

We’ll find out next week what Rogers will do to this $85 plan, as it will likely revert back to 175GB of data. I am not sure who can burn through 175GB of data in the first place, aside from tethering and watching non-stop HD videos.

Here are plans from Rogers as of today:

  • $70/60GB
  • $75/100GB
  • $85/200GB Canada-USA
  • $105/250GB Global (27 nations)

…and Telus

  • $60/100GB
  • $75/200GB Canada-USA
  • $105 unlimited data
  • $105/250GB Global (68 nations)
  • $60/60GB
  • $65/80GB

…and Bell

  • $70/60GB
  • $75/100GB
  • $85/200GB Canada-USA
  • $105/250GB Global (65 nations)

Let’s wait and see what happens tomorrow and into the weekend. We need flanker brands and Public Mobile, along with Freedom Mobile, to debut some really good plans.

Agreed. Freedom hasn’t done much. Was hoping decent plans cheaper than the $39 / month. Throwing more data doesn’t help anyone.
