Apple Fitness+ Rolling Out to 28 More Countries This Month

Apple is expanding its Fitness+ subscription service to 28 new markets on December 15, marking the largest rollout since the platform launched five years ago.
New subscriptions will open in Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, the Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, Venezuela, and Vietnam on December 15. Japan follows early in 2026.
As part of the expansion, Apple is adding digitally dubbed versions of its workouts and meditations in Spanish and German on December 15, with Japanese to arrive when the service launches there. The dubbing uses a generated voice modelled on each trainer.
“Through its seamless integration across Apple devices, Fitness+ has helped inspire users to live a healthier day,” said Jay Blahnik, Apple’s vice president of Fitness Technologies, in a statement on Monday. “From seeing real-time, personal metrics right onscreen with Apple Watch or AirPods Pro 3, to the ability to bring the service with you wherever you go on iPhone or iPad, we’re delivering unmatched motivation to users. We couldn’t be more excited to bring this experience to even more users around the globe with our biggest expansion yet.”
With the update, Fitness+ will be available in 49 countries. Subscribers can access 12 workout types such as Strength, Yoga, HIIT, Pilates, Dance, Cycling, and Meditation, with sessions ranging from five to 45 minutes. Metrics like heart rate, calories, and Activity ring progress can appear onscreen when using an Apple Watch or compatible AirPods.
Apple is also adding a new K-Pop music category to its workout playlists, joining existing genres like Hip Hop/R&B and Upbeat Anthems.
Fitness+ costs $12.99 CAD per month or $99.99 CAD per year in Canada, and can be shared with up to five people. It’s also included in select Apple One plans.
