Rogers and Bell Quietly Offer a 50% Off $35 Canada-U.S. Plan

The Mobile Shop has a new $35/month BYOD plan that’s getting a lot of attention on RedFlagDeals, mainly because of how much data you get for the price and the fact it runs on either Rogers or Bell.

The deal offers 100GB of data with Canada and U.S. roaming included on a 5G plan, priced at $35 per month. The regular price is listed as $70, making this effectively a 50% discount. The offer is live now and is set to expire on December 18, 2025, though some users report stores saying limited promo codes could run out sooner.

This appears to be a targeted offer, originally spotted through the PC Optimum app and emails sent to PC Financial cardholders. That said, several RedFlagDeals users say they were able to sign up in store even without a PC Financial Mastercard, including people qualifying through corporate or loyalty eligibility.

Availability seems to vary by location, so mileage may vary depending on which Mobile Shop you visit. There is an $80 activation or connection fee listed in the fine print, but multiple users report having it waived or credited back after signing up in store.

Others say the fee still applies, so it’s worth asking before committing. One important thing to note is that the $35 price relies on monthly credits that expire after 24 months, meaning the plan price will increase unless you switch again at that point.

Reaction in the comments is mostly positive, especially from people who remember paying $60 for 10GB not that long ago. Some users point out there are other competitive winback offers from Koodo, Red Wireless, or Rogers RPP, but those aren’t available to everyone. For those who qualify, $35 for 100GB of Canada–U.S. data on Rogers or Bell is still a strong deal.

There’s one huge caveat with Bell, though. The U.S. data is capped at 10GB of roaming which sucks, whereas Rogers has no cap.

Bottom line, if you’re looking for a high-data Canada–U.S. plan and don’t mind going in store to see if you qualify, this is one of the better offers floating around right now, as there’s nothing close to a $35 price point from the Rogers and Bell website right now. Just make sure you confirm the activation fee and understand that the promo price is tied to credits that won’t last forever.
