OnePlus 15R and Pad Go 2 Pricing in Canada: Pre-Orders Now Live

OnePlus has officially launched two new devices for Canada: the OnePlus 15R smartphone and the OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet. Both are positioned as lower-priced options compared to OnePlus’ top-end hardware and are available for pre-order now, with sales starting later this month and into January.

OnePlus 15R

The OnePlus 15R is the second device in the OnePlus 15 lineup and is the first phone globally to ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. OnePlus says the phone is aimed at people who want flagship-level performance without paying flagship prices. It’s a gorgeous build and the phone feels great in the hand.

The phone includes a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a 7,400 mAh battery, and 55W fast charging. OnePlus claims the battery is its largest ever in a flagship device and is designed to hold most of its capacity over several years of use.

Camera hardware includes a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 32-megapixel front camera. The phone can also record 4K video at up to 120 frames per second.

OnePlus Pad Go 2

OnePlus also announced the Pad Go 2, a new Android tablet coming to Canada for the first time as part of its Pad Go series. The tablet is aimed at students and casual users looking for a large screen and long battery life at a lower price point.

The Pad Go 2 features a 12.1-inch display with a 7:5 aspect ratio, a 10,050 mAh battery, and 33W fast charging. OnePlus says the battery can deliver up to 15 hours of video playback. The tablet runs OxygenOS 16 and supports multitasking features that allow multiple apps on screen at once. We tested the Pad Go 2 and it has some excellent build quality and the screen is really nice. I’d take this over the entry iPad from Apple.

A stylus, sold separately, adds support for handwritten notes and drawing.
