Public Mobile’s Boxing Day Plans Just Got Better Than Black Friday

Public Mobile has updated its plans again, less than a week after its last change, as Boxing Week approaches.

The Telus-owned prepaid brand has now added more value to its Canada–U.S.–Mexico 5G plans, including international calling minutes.

The added minutes allow customers to make calls to China, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.

Here’s a look at the latest Boxing Week plans from Public Mobile:

While the $35 plan gains double the data like Black Friday, the $40 plan now has 100GB to match Freedom Mobile, up from 70GB (originally it was 60GB when Boxing Week plans first hit). The $50 plan now has 150GB, a 50% gain from 100GB (and up from the 80GB when Boxing Week plans first were announced).

Compared to Black Friday, we have way more data but long distance minutes are still at half the amount. Still, if you’re a heavy data user, $40 for 100GB is not bad.
