How to Watch: Stream the 2026 World Juniors in Canada Live

The holiday season wouldn’t be complete without the intense rivalries, breakout stars, and nail-biting finishes of the IIHF World Junior Championship. This year, the tournament—celebrating its 50th anniversary—returns to the United States for the first time since 2018, hosted in the hockey hotbed of Minneapolis–Saint Paul, Minnesota.

It’s a special homecoming: the event hasn’t been in St. Paul since 1982, when Canada claimed gold. As Bell Media’s TSN proudly declares, they are the exclusive home of the World Juniors in Canada, broadcasting every game live from December 26, 2025, to the championship final on January 5, 2026.

How to Watch the 2026 IIHF World Juniors in Canada

Team Canada opens the tournament with four preliminary games on December 26, 27, 29, and 31. All of Canada’s preliminary-round games air at 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT on TSN, except for the December 27 matchup, which starts earlier at 4:00 PM ET / 1:00 PM PT.

You can watch every game by signing in with a TV subscription that includes TSN, or by streaming directly through TSN’s app and website. Games can be streamed on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and other supported devices, making it easy to follow the tournament on the go.

If you do not have cable, TSN also offers standalone streaming access, which gives full live and on-demand coverage of the World Juniors throughout the tournament. But of course you’ll need to pay for it.

TSN streaming costs $24.99/month or $199.90/year. There’s a Crave/TSN bundle right now for $24.99/month, so it might be better jumping on that since you get Crave as well.

With Canada chasing another gold medal and the tournament returning to a historic venue, the 2025 World Juniors are shaping up to be a must-watch event for hockey fans across the country, once again.
