Asus’ Device Collaboration With Kojima Productions Includes Insanely Cool ROG Flow Z13

During CES 2026, Asus debuted a lineup of devices made in collaboration with Death Stranding studio Kojima Productions. The company is launching four core productions, including a Kojima Productions-branded ROG Z Flow 13 2-in-1 gaming laptop.

At the heart of the Asus and Kojima Productions collaboration is the ROG Flow Z13 ‘Kojima Edition’. While based on the model launched in 2025, the new ‘KJP’ version offers a stunning sandy-metallic colourway, paired with a black finish across the back. The new colour option is built on the existing carbon fibre design of the ROG Z Flow 13. Unfortunately, nothing has really changed in regards to the ROG Z Flow 13 specs, but this model should catch the attention of any Kojima Productions fan.

One of the objectively coolest things about the new ROG Z Flow 13 is that it ships in a Luden-inspired briefcase as well. There are so many little details to uncover across the ROG Z Flow 13 as well as the briefcase. The Kojima Productions logo can also be found on the included power supply brick.

For the uninitiated, the ROG Z Flow 13 debuted in 2025. The 2-in-1 gaming laptop is a compact device, featuring a built-in kickstand so the device can be propped up on even smaller desks. It weighs only 1.75kg and is 14.6mm thick. The device also comes with a thin 1.7mm keyboard cover. For the Kojima Productions-branded ROG Z Flow, the WASD keys match the sandy colour of the device.

The device sports a 13-inch QHD display, capable of supporting up to 180Hz refresh rate with 500 nits of brightness. Having gone hands-on with the device last year, this smaller option for a gaming laptop packs a significant punch. Despite a smaller design, Asus has built it with the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chipset with Radeon 8060S GPU. It also offers up to 128GB LPDDR5X 8000 RAM, and can run 70B LLM locally. Plus, you get 1TB of 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD storage. The ROG Z Flow 13 also features a 70Wh battery. In personal hands-on time, it’s provided around 8 hours of use on average.

Asus notably runs its Armoury Crate software on the device. The all-in-one software, offering updates, custom controls over optimizations and more, has a Kojima Productions theme on the device. There aren’t any radical shifts in how the ROG Z Flow 13 performs or operates. Like the new Armoury Crate theme, the Kojima Productions model is purely cosmetic.

In addition, Asus is launching a Kojima Productions-branded ROG Delta II Wireless RGB Gaming Headset, ROG Keris II Origin Ultralight Mouse, and ROG Scabbard II Gaming Mouse Pad. Once again, none of the devices or accessories are new per se. However, much like the ROG Z Flow 13, Asus has gone all-out to represent Kojima Productions and the impact the studio has had, developing Death Stranding and last year’s Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

We’re still awaiting word on Canadian pricing and availability. We’ll update this article as soon as we learn more coming out of CES 2026.
