Samsung Reveals Expanded ‘Companion to AI Living’ Vision During CES 2026

Samsung held a first look at its ‘Companion to AI Living’ vision during CES 2026. CEO and Head of Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) Division, TM Roh, arrived on stage during the keynote to describe the expansion of AI and how it can be used as a companion in our daily lives.

The Companion to AI Living vision unifies everything from your Samsung smartphone to the company’s TVs, home appliances, and more. Leveraging on-device AI systems, Samsung believes that this ecosystem may offer a more comprehensive and responsive environment for users. With AI-powered products, Samsung believes that the ecosystem can adapt to your routines and provide optomized information. Thus, the company is continuing to iterate on the Vision AI Companion (VAC) that was introduced across many devices in 2025.

“Samsung is building a more unified, more personal experience across mobile, visual display, home appliances and services,” said CEO TM Roh on stage at CES 2026. “With our global connected ecosystem, and by embedding AI across categories, Samsung is leading the way to offer more meaningful everyday AI experiences.”

As part of its CES 2026 keynote, Samsung revealed a new 130-inch Micro RGB display as part of its new lineup. As a massive shift in picture quality is being positioned, the 130-inch Micro RGB is said to “mark a new era of color,” providing the widest and most detailed spectrum ever from a Samsung TV. The display is built using the Timeless Frame design with minimal bezels, showcasing the sheer size of the display. This display refines the technology used in the 115-inch model, introduced last year.

As part of this announcement, Samsung revealed that the display utilizes the VAC technology. With this, the entertainment companion can “enhance” the viewing experience anywhere within the home. The VAC provides suggestions on what to watch, what to eat and provides optimizations for the TV experience. Additionally, the 130-inch Micro RGB smart TV is built on the AI Engine Pro, which offers more control of RGB colours and provides a vivid picture.

Additionally, Samsung revealed the new ultra-thin OLED S95H model, which sports minimal bezels. Samsung’s Freestyle+ portable projector has also been shown off. These displays also support VAC technology. The company also confirms that the 2026 TV lineup will support HDR10+ ADVANCED, which is made to enhance brightness with genre-based optimization, motion smoothing, local tone mapping, and enhancements while gaming.

We’ll have much more from CES 2026, so stay tuned throughout the week.
