Apple Arcade’s Sneaky Sasquatch Gets a Subway Surfers Crossover

Apple Arcade’s Sneaky Sasquatch, the open-world sandbox game where players lead a mischievous creature through everyday human activities, is receiving an exclusive crossover event with Subway Surfers+, a brand-new gameplay expansion, and celebratory iMessage stickers.

Starting today, players can jump into a limited-time event that merges the world of Subway Surfers+ with the whimsical art style of Sneaky Sasquatch. Running through October 7, the crossover transforms the endless runner with recognizable locations inspired by Sasquatch Valley.

During this event, classic gold coins are replaced by Raccoon Coins, while the iconic subway inspector gets a full redesign in a park ranger costume. Gamers can unlock four exclusive character skins alongside two unique hoverboards to use during their runs.

Beyond the temporary crossover, Apple confirmed that a major content patch is heading to Sneaky Sasquatch on September 17. The upcoming update introduces an interactive birdwatching system to the title’s wide range of activities, which already includes skiing, driving custom sports cars, and running a medical practice.

The birdwatching system adds more than 30 unique species of birds across the game world. Players can hunt down these birds with an in-game camera, snap photos, and turn their pictures in to an NPC birder to log them into a master database. Each photo gets evaluated on composition and framing, giving players extra points and rewards for rare species, brand-new discoveries, or capturing multiple birds in a single shot.

Rounding out the news, Apple launched 11 new birthday-themed stickers for Messages. These designs join the existing Sneaky Sasquatch sticker pack, letting fans share themed reactions with friends.

Apple Arcade is available in Canada for $8.99 CAD per month, with access included across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro devices.
