Dell is officially bringing back its popular XPS laptop lineup (that didn’t take long, eh?), and Canadians can already buy the new models following the company’s announcements at CES 2026.
The company has relaunched the XPS brand with two redesigned laptops, the XPS 14 and XPS 16, marking a return to one of its most well-known premium PC lines. Both models are now available in Canada, with pricing starting at $2,949.99 CAD for the XPS 14 and $3,099.99 CAD for the XPS 16.
The new XPS 14 features a 14-inch non-touch 2K display and is powered by an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor with 16 cores. It includes Intel Arc graphics, 32GB of LPDDR5X memory, and a 1TB SSD, running Windows 11 Home.
The XPS 16 offers similar specifications but with a larger 16-inch non-touch 2K display, aimed at users who want more screen space without stepping into a full workstation-class laptop.
Dell says the new XPS laptops are thinner and lighter than previous generations, with a redesigned aluminum chassis and a renewed focus on portability and battery life. The company is also teasing the return of the XPS 13 later in 2026, which it says will be its thinnest and lightest XPS laptop yet, and the most affordable entry point into the XPS lineup.
The XPS relaunch is part of a broader consumer push announced by Dell at CES 2026, which also includes an expanded Alienware gaming lineup and new UltraSharp monitors.
Dell effectively killed off the XPS brand at CES 2025, when it said it was dropping familiar product names like XPS, Inspiron, Latitude, and Precision. In their place, Dell moved to a simpler lineup that used labels such as Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max instead of the long-running model names.
For now, Canadian buyers looking for a premium Windows laptop can once again get their hands on the XPS name, yet again. Isn’t marketing fun?
