Anker SOLIX has announced a new whole-home backup power system designed to keep an entire house running during power outages, calling it the “world’s first smart-hybrid” system.

The company unveiled the Anker SOLIX E10, a smart hybrid backup system that combines large battery storage, solar power, and a fuel-powered generator into one setup. Unlike smaller backup solutions that only support selected circuits, the E10 is designed to power a full home, including high-demand appliances like a 5-tonne air conditioner.

The company has NFL Hall of Famer Troy Aikman as their brand ambassador for the launch of the E10.

Anker SOLIX says a single E10 unit can deliver enough surge power to start large appliances, with the option to stack multiple units to boost overall capacity. With added battery modules, the system can scale up to 90 kWh of storage, which the company says is enough to power a home for several days during extended outages, depending on usage.

The E10 offers turbo output between 10 kW and 30 kW, with total system power ranging from 28.8 kW to 66 kW when paired with a 200A Power Dock. It is designed to handle heavy electrical loads, including large motors and central air systems. Battery capacity starts at 6 kWh and scales to 90 kWh, while solar input can be expanded from 9 kW up to 27 kW.

Anker SOLIX also says a smart generator can extend backup runtime by up to 5x, and the system supports seamless switchover in 20 milliseconds or less to protect appliances during outages and power restoration.

The system can be installed with either an automatic transfer setup for hands-free switchover or a manual configuration that works with existing solar systems. Anker SOLIX says the modular, plug-and-play design is intended to support both professional installers and experienced DIY users, with weather-resistant hardware built for outdoor installation in a wide range of conditions.

Pre-orders for the Anker SOLIX E10 have opened in the U.S., with pricing starting at $4,299 US for the base system that includes 1 inverter and 1 battery. More advanced configurations with additional hardware and a generator cost more, depending on the setup:

Official sales begin on February 4, 2026.

Anker SOLIX has not yet announced Canadian pricing or availability for the E10—stay tuned for more info as we’ll get an update shortly.
