Resident Evil Showcase Announced, Here’s How to Watch

Capcom has announced a Resident Evil showcase for this week. Ahead of the release of Resident Evil Requiem, the publisher is highlighting the game once again during a virtual show.
As revealed on X (formerly Twitter), the Resident Evil showcase is due to take place on Thursday, January 15th. The presentation will take place at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT. According to Capcom, “The Resident Evil Showcase offers the latest information on the Resident Evil series.” The publisher has also confirmed that the showcase will run for an estimated 12 minutes total.
As for what will be shown, it should come as no surprise, but Resident Evil Requiem will be the star of the live stream. “All the latest info on Resident Evil Requiem” will be incorporated into the showcase, it’s said. This includes brand new footage of gameplay as well as news on the upcoming title. However, it’s unknown if Capcom has anything else up its sleeve for the show.
Resident Evil Requiem is planned to release on February 27th across PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S. The game introduces Grace Ashcroft to players as the daughter of Resident Evil Outbreak’s Alyssa Ashcroft. The game also features fan-favourite Leon Kennedy in all his glory once more.
Capcom has said that it’s to be expected that Resident Evil Requiem features a mix of thrilling, horror-rich moments as well as action-packed sequences that should excite fans.
Recently, it was announced that Resident Evil Village is hitting Xbox Game Pass, so it’s now a perfect time to get caught up before the release of Resident Evil Requiem.
