Nintendo’s Year in Review 2025 is Now Available

Although we’re well into the new year, Nintendo has released its Year in Review for 2025. The breakdown from the company spans playtime habits and milestones earned throughout the year on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
Available via Nintendo’s own website, the Year in Review give you a broad rundown of how many games you’ve played on a Switch system and how many hours were spent playing as well. The company provides a nice little layout of all the various titles you’ve played as well.
Nintendo‘s Year in Review then highlights your most-played games out of all of them. For instance, mine included a tie between Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza. It was a big year for the Nintendo Switch 2, so Kirby Air Riders was also high on the list as well.
Scrolling through the Year in Review, you’ll also find your gaming style. Nintendo provided a rough stat of your overall play habits by genre. Whether it’s action games, party titles, racing, adventure, etc., they’ll be shown in detail throughout this breakdown.
One of my personal favourite parts of Nintendo’s Year in Review is the month-by-month bar graph that’s included. It’s pretty apparent that by the time Nintendo Switch 2 arrived, my playtime within the Nintendo ecosystem soared. Playtime also returned in December, where, during the break, I spent a lot of time clearing out my backlog on Nintendo Switch 2.
Finally, the Year in Review provides a nice scorecard that you’re able to download and share online. It offers a nice summary of everything above that you can share anywhere you’d like and brag to friends.
It’s a great chance to look back at a fantastic 2025 that Nintendo had ahead of what will surely be a busy year in 2026. Nintendo Switch 2 will boast a ton of new games to play, including the upcoming Mario Tennis Fever, which arrives on February 12.
