Microsoft Begins Testing New Xbox Cloud Gaming Web Experience UI

Microsoft has revealed its new Xbox Cloud Gaming web experience UI. Featuring familiar ties to the Xbox ecosystem, the new UI is designed to feel more intuitive and give players faster access to their games.
Shown via Xbox Wire, the new Xbox Cloud Gaming web experience closely resembles the Xbox console’s interface. For instance, the UI is now far cleaner than it was prior. When opening the web experience, you’ll see recently played games as well as available titles to play via the cloud. Xbox notes that not all functions are available yet, as the UI hasn’t fully rolled out just yet.
The new UI has entered a public preview, meaning that users can begin to get their hands on it and test its improvements prior to a full release. To try out the new interface, you can head to the official website and sign in with your Xbox account.
Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to head to ‘Settings’ and ensure that the ‘Preview Features’ toggle is active. By following the prompts and links, you’ll be taken to the new web experience after Preview Features is activated. It’s worth noting that it may take up to 10 minutes or so for the prompts to appear. You’re then able to explore the new UI and features.
Throughout the new web experience, players may experience bugs, glitches or otherwise rough edges during the duration of the public preview. There’s currently no word on when the new web experience will leave its preview phase, however.
Microsoft urges users to submit feedback or report issues during this phase. “If you encounter issues or have suggestions, please share them through the Feedback feature in the preview experience,” the company says.
