Apple Launches Creator Studio in Canada: Pro Apps Bundle for $17.99

Apple has officially launched its new Apple Creator Studio subscription in Canada today, bundling its most powerful creative tools into a single monthly plan. The service, which was first spotted in beta leaks last November, is now available to help creators access high-end software for a flat monthly fee.
In Canada, the subscription costs $17.99 per month or $179 per year. Apple is also offering a significant discount for students (post secondary) and educators, who can subscribe for just $3.99 per month or $39 per year.
The bundle includes full access to professional apps like Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro. It also unlocks premium features and new AI-powered templates within Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform. Apple is even introducing fresh icons for these creative apps as part of the launch.
“Apple Creator Studio is a great value that enables creators of all types to pursue their craft and grow their skills by providing easy access to the most powerful and intuitive tools,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, last week, on why pros need this.
The new service relies heavily on Apple Intelligence. These AI tools are designed to speed up workflows, such as automatically generating slide content in Keynote or using advanced image editing features in Pixelmator Pro. Because of this, users will need compatible hardware to take advantage of the smartest features.
Apple says that users who already own standalone versions of these apps can continue to use them as normal. The basic versions of Pages and Numbers also remain free.
New subscribers in Canada can start with a one-month free trial. Also, anyone who buys a new Mac or iPad will receive a three-month free trial to test out the full creative suite.
