Nothing Teases Phone 4A Reveal on March 5 During MWC

Nothing has begun to send invitations to the reveal of its next smartphone. The Phone 4a is poised to be shown during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on March 5.

With a tagline reading, “something new is coming,” the company has begun to tease the launch of its Nothing Phone 4a series. The reveal is due to be held during MWC and will be live-streamed at 5:30 AM ET/2:30 AM PT. Those watching from home can tune into the live stream on Nothing’s website.

The timing of the event is somewhat dubious, as CEO Carl Pei had previously teased the date in response to Apple’s March 4th event. This week, Apple began to send out invites for a mysterious event on March 4th.

Now, there’s no official word on what the Nothing Phone 4a series is set to bring in. There’s a lot of anticipation to see the Nothing Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro come March 5th. It’s believed that both devices feature Snapdragon 7-series chipsets. Nothing is also notorious for taking its own approach to design and device aesthetic. So, it’s expected that the company will continue this trend.

Last year, Nothing used MWC to reveal the Nothing Phone 3a and Nothing Phone 3a Pro. Both were designed to be reliable and well-rounded mid-range devices within the company’s catalogue. They offered a nice display and a few features that Nothing capitalized on, offering its users, like the glyph interface.

Earlier, Pei confirmed that the company would not be launching the Phone 4 in 2026. “We’re going to be focused on levelling up our A series with the 4A,” Pei said in a video. “It’s our best-selling series, and we’re really excited about taking this even closer to what a flagship experience is going to be across the board from materials, design to screen, camera, etc.”
