Public Mobile Boosts 5G Plans With Up to 70GB of Extra Data Until March 2

Telus-owned Public Mobile has launched a new promo that offers more data for its 5G data plans.

What we’re seeing are data bucket increases ranging from 10GB to 70GB extra, depending on the plans.

Public Mobile 4G Data Plans

• $20/500MB
• $23/2GB
• $26/5GB
• $30/15GB

Nothing has changed with 4G plans.

Public Mobile 5G Data Plans

• $35/40GB (was 30GB) Canada
• $40/100GB (was 60GB) Canada-US-Mexico
• $50/150GB (was 80GB) Canada-US-Mexico

Now this is where things have shifted for 5G plans. The $35 Canada plans gets a 10GB data bonus up to 40GB total. Meanwhile, the Canada-US-Mexico talk, text and data plans are seeing a 40GB bonus for the $40 plan to 100GB, while the $50 plan gets 70GB more to 150GB total. That’s a lot of data that most people won’t fully use every month, unless they’re streaming daily.

There was a $60/100GB Canada-US-Mexico plan, but it has been eliminated, simplifying 5G plan offerings to just three pricepoints for now.

Public Mobile says these promos for the 5G plans will expire on March 2, 2026.
