Mario Tennis and Mario Clash Join Nintendo’s Virtual Boy Collection

Nintendo has announced that Mario’s Tennis and Mario Clash are launching to the Virtual Boy: Nintendo Classics library as part of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Both games will be available on March 10th, celebration ‘MAR10 Day’ as part of the subscription.
Announced on X (formerly Twitter), the company revealed a fast expansion to its Virtual Boy: Nintendo Classic catalogue soon after releasing the peripheral and app on Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Switch. Mario’s Tennis and Mario Clash join the roster of the already released seven titles. However, to play, you must own the Virtual Boy accessory, which can be purchased from the Nintendo website for $109.99.
Mario’s Tennis was originally bundled with the Virtual Boy in North America and was the first Nintendo tennis game to feature Mario and the cast of characters. In the game, players can wield a racket and play as one of seven characters, including Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, Princess Toadstool, Koopa Troopa, and Donkey Kong Jr. Mario Clash is a smaller 3D rendition of the original Mario Bros. Players will make their way up a 99-floor building, defeating Koopa Troopas and throwing their shells at enemies.
In addition to the two new Virtual Boy: Nintendo Classics titles, Nintendo is also adding Mario vs Donkey Kong, the beloved Game Boy Advance title from 2004, to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Arriving on MAR10 Day as well, players have the chance to once again experience the pseudo-sequel to the 1992 Donkey Kong title.
An annual subscription to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is available for $63.99 in Canada. Additionally, Nintendo offers a 12-month Family Membership, including up to eight accounts, for $99.99.
