Apple Studio Display XDR Reviews: The 120Hz 5K Dream Is Finally Here
Apple’s new Studio Display XDR officially hits stores this Wednesday, March 11, and the first wave of reviews published today confirms that it is the most significant leap for Mac monitors in years.
While the high price tag remains a focal point (starting at $4,499 in Canada), professionals are calling it the “holy grail” for combining 5K resolution with the smoothness of a 120Hz refresh rate, along with its mini-LED backlight with 2,304 dimming zones, a 4x increase compared to the old Pro Display XDR. But this year there is no 32-inch option and it’s only 27-inch.
