Fido Cuts Wireless Prices to $24 to Match Koodo in Last Minute Sale
We’re seeing a dizzying span of wireless promos right now, with Freedom Mobile offering its $40/250GB global roaming plan again, Koodo cutting prices by 25% off and now we’re seeing Fido lower its prices as well.
The Rogers flanker brand has cut prices by up to 31%, now starting at $24 with 20GB of 5G data. Remember that Fido launched 5G plans last week, a move spurred by Virgin Plus relaunching 5G plans again.
Check out the latest Fido plans below…
Fido
- $24/20GB (was $35)
- $28/80GB (was $40)
- $35/80GB (was $49) Canada-US-Mexico
- $75/100GB (was $55)
- $80/10GB (clearly this is a typo)
You’ll also notice the 100GB plan jumped in price by $20 to $75, and Fido’s website continues to have a typo offering an $80/10GB plan (it doesn’t make sense).
Here are plans from Koodo and Virgin Plus in comparison…
Koodo
- $23.75 ($45) – 20GB
- $27.50 ($50) – 80GB
- $35 ($60) – 80GB Canada-US-Mexico Roaming (Talk, Text & Data)
- $38.75 ($65) – 100GB
Virgin Plus
- $35/20GB
- $40/80GB (was 60GB)
- $49/80GB (was 60GB ) Canada-US-Mexico
- $55/100GB
Next up is Virgin Plus to match its rivals in cutting prices, but with the Fido and Koodo promos set to end today, March 16, there may be no point.

Virgin Plus has $25 80GB 5G in stores, pretty big lineups for it in the mall.
