The Google Pixel 11 is starting to come into focus, with recent leaks offering a look at what to expect from the 2026 flagship. The first leaked renders, which appeared today via Android Headlines, reveal a design that stays largely consistent with the current Pixel aesthetic.
The signature horizontal camera bar remains the centerpiece in the Pixel 11, though it has undergone a subtle transformation. In the leaked images, the camera pill is entirely black, moving away from the body-coloured accents seen on previous models.
The physical dimensions appear nearly identical to the current generation, measuring roughly 152.8 x 72 x 8.5mm. However, Google has reportedly managed to slim down the display bezels significantly. This change provides a more modern, edge-to-edge feel for the 6.3-inch OLED display without increasing the overall size of the phone.
The real story of the Pixel 11 lies beneath the surface. For years, Google’s custom Tensor chips have focused on AI features while sometimes lagging behind competitors in raw efficiency and thermal management. The new Tensor G6 aims to change that narrative.
Reports indicate that the Tensor G6 will be manufactured using TSMC’s cutting-edge 2nm process. This is a major technical milestone that should result in a much cooler-running device with significantly better battery life. Furthermore, Google is expected to ditch Samsung-made modems in favour of a new MediaTek 5G modem.
The Pixel 11 is also slated to receive its first major security hardware upgrade in five years. Since 2021, Google has relied on the Titan M2 chip to protect user data. The Pixel 11 is rumoured to debut the Titan M3 security coprocessor, offering even more robust on-device protection for biometrics, encryption keys, and sensitive transactions.
On the software side, the Tensor G6 will likely power a new suite of “Video Relight” features. This tool would allow users to adjust lighting conditions in a video after it has been recorded, a task that requires immense processing power. This aligns with Google’s ongoing mission to use AI to bridge the gap between amateur photography and professional-grade results.
Following its traditional release schedule, Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 11 series, including the Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold variants, in August 2026.
