Apple’s Website Reflects on 50th Anniversary With Animated Video

Today marks the 50th anniversary of Apple. To mark the occasion, Apple’s website has been updated with a special animated video that highlights many of Apple’s core products.
A quick celebratory animated video has been placed on the company’s homepage. Reflecting on Apple’s 50th anniversary, the video features a sketch animation of the original Mac, iPhone 17 Pro, iPad, iMac, AirPods, Vision Pro and much more.
Additionally, the video includes nods to the Finder icon, App Store logo, Apple Music and more pieces of Apple iconography. For anyone who has followed the company over the many decades, it’s a nice trip down memory lane.
Beneath the video, Apple included some text reading, “At 50 years, it’s only natural to look back.” It continues, “But Apple has always looked forward, building tools and delivering experiences that enrich people’s lives. As we celebrate how far we’ve come, we’re inspired by where we’ll go — together.”
On X (formerly Twitter), Apple CEO Tim Cook also took a moment to celebrate the occasion. “Thank you to our teams, our users, and everyone who’s been part of the journey,” Cook says in a post. The CEO also posted a brief video that spanned products in reverse chronological order.
It’s a bit bizarre to think that Apple was founded 50 years ago today. On April 1st, 1976, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak created the company that went on to make some of the most revolutionary and remarkable devices we still use today. Apple has been influential in the home computing space, smartphones, wearables, tablets, and more.
