Nintendo is launching a new bundle deal for the Switch 2 this week, timed to coincide with the release of the new Super Mario Galaxy movie in theatres.
Starting Thursday, April 9, Canadian retailers will offer a $30 discount when you buy a Nintendo Switch 2 console along with the Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 collection. The promo runs until May 7 at participating stores and online.
The updated game collection for the Switch 2 features several technical improvements over the originals, including 4K resolution and a revamped user interface. The new hardware also supports mouse-style controls for a second player using the new Joy-Con 2 controllers.
In terms of gameplay, the bundle includes two full adventures. The first title follows Mario and Rosalina as they hunt for Power Stars stolen by Bowser, while the sequel introduces Yoshi and a starship shaped like Mario’s head. Both games on the Switch 2 now include extra story chapters and a new Assist Mode to make the levels more accessible.
Parents can still use built-in software tools to manage what their kids play on the new system. The $30 savings are based on the suggested retail price of buying the console and game separately.
