Apple Canada Earth Day Promo: Get 10% Off New Gear for Your Old Tech

Apple is celebrating Earth Day with a new incentive for Canadian shoppers to clear out their junk drawers. Starting now, the tech giant is offering a 10% discount on a wide range of accessories and smaller devices when you bring in an old iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch for recycling.

This limited-time offer is designed to keep electronics out of landfills by making it a bit cheaper to upgrade your daily essentials. However, there is a catch: the deal is only available in person at physical Apple Store locations. Online orders, including those placed for in-store pickup or through the Apple Store app, do not qualify.

To get the discount, you must complete the recycling of your old device and the purchase of your new product in the same transaction. The promotion started on April 16 and runs until May 16, 2026, though Apple notes it could change or end the offer sooner. This is a solid chance for anyone looking to grab a new pair of AirPods or a fresh Apple Pencil while doing something good for the environment.

Eligible Recycling Devices

To qualify for the 10% discount, you must recycle one of the following:

  • iPhone

  • iPad

  • Mac

  • Apple Watch

Promotion Products

The 10% discount applies to the retail price of these specific items:

  • AirPods 4 and AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation

  • AirPods Pro 3

  • AirPods Max

  • AirTag (1-pack and 4-pack)

  • Apple Pencil

  • Apple TV 4K

  • Apple-branded adapters, cables, and chargers

  • Apple-branded iPhone cases, iPad cases, and Apple Watch bands

  • Magic Keyboard (excluding the version for iPad), Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad

  • Beats Solo 4 and Beats Solo Buds

  • Beats Studio Buds and Beats Pill

  • Powerbeats Pro 2 and Powerbeats Fit

  • Select Beats-branded cables and cases

We previously wrote about Apple’s environmental progress, but more details are above in terms of what can be recycled and what products are eligible for the 10% off (it’s not much but still you can save on items that normally don’t go on sale).
