PS Plus May 2026: Star Wars Outlaws, Bramble, and More
Sony has officially revealed the lineup of titles joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2026, featuring Star Wars Outlaws, Red Dead Redemption 2, and The Thaumaturge for Extra and Premium subscribers.
The clear headliner for May is the addition of Star Wars Outlaws. Developed by Ubisoft, this title allows players to step into the shoes of scoundrel Kay Vess. Set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, the game offers a rare look at the galactic underworld.
Joining the sci-fi epic is one of the most celebrated games of all time: Red Dead Redemption 2. While Rockstar’s masterpiece has appeared on the service before, its return is a welcome sight for those who have yet to experience the emotional journey of Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang. The sheer level of detail in its depiction of the dying American West remains a gold standard for the industry.
Beyond the blockbusters, Sony is leaning heavily into variety this month. The Thaumaturge makes its way to the catalog, offering a unique RPG experience set in early 20th-century Warsaw. Players navigate a world filled with moral choices and supernatural beings known as Salutors. It is a deep, narrative-driven game that rewards those looking for something outside the mainstream.
For fans of suspense and dark folklore, Bramble: The Mountain King is a standout inclusion. This title takes players through a beautiful but dangerous world inspired by Nordic fables. It provides a stark contrast to the action-heavy titles in the list, focusing on atmospheric storytelling and tense encounters with mythical creatures.
These games will be available for download starting Tuesday, May 19, for all eligible subscribers.
PS Plus Premium members also get access to new additions in the Classics Catalog. This month, Sony is digging into the vault to bring back several titles from the PS1 and PS2 era, ensuring that long-time fans can revisit their childhood favourites with modern features like up-rendering and quick saves.
Additionally, new titles for the PS VR2 are being added, further expanding the library for those invested in Sony’s latest hardware.
