Apple has hyped up what developers can expect for WWDC 2026, which is kicking off as an online event from June 8 through June 12.
The action officially begins on Monday, June 8, with the highly anticipated keynote presentation at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (1pm ET). This will be followed immediately by the Platforms State of the Union address at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time (4pm ET), giving developers their first deep dive into the latest software updates and tools.
Apple is encouraging developers to prepare for the packed week by downloading the Apple Developer app. The app serves as the main hub for the entire conference and includes updated digital stickers, such as the classic dogcow mascot, Claris. By signing up for a free Apple Developer account, attendees can access personalized recommendations and browse more than 100 technical sessions on Apple’s developer website.
The tech giant is also bringing back live-streaming group labs and Q&A sessions, allowing creators to connect directly with the engineers and designers who build Apple’s core technologies. Forums are already open for questions ahead of the official kickoff.
Beyond the code, Apple is celebrating the community with a curated WWDC 2026 playlist on Apple Music and official event wallpapers. The week will also highlight the best apps and games in the world through the announcement of the 2026 Apple Design Award finalists.
But of course the biggest news is that everyone is waiting to see what the new AI Siri overhaul will look like officially.
