Nintendo has also launched new apps for tablet, CarPlay and Android Auto support. Each of these apps is specifically optomized to support the devices with unique interfaces designed for larger displays.
The Nintendo Music app first launched in 2024 on iOS and Android. The mobile app has steadily recieved new tracks over the year, typically coinciding with new game releases. However, up until this point, the app has been mobile-exclusive, leaving Nintendo Switch Online with no way to enjoy the catalogue outside of their smartphone.
To coincide with the web version and new apps, Nintendo has added 130 tracks from Mario Kart World to Nintendo Music. The game has been widely recognized as having one of the strongest music catalogues in quite some time and has been requested heavily by fans.
An annual subscription to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is available for $63.99 in Canada. Additionally, Nintendo offers a 12-month Family Membership, including up to eight accounts, for $99.99.
