Nintendo Music App Brings 40 Years of Game Soundtracks

Nintendo has announced Nintendo Music is coming out shortly, a new app for streaming soundtracks from nearly 40 years of Nintendo games on your phone or tablet.
If you’re a Nintendo Switch Online member, you can dive into iconic tunes from classics like Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and the latest hits from Splatoon 3—all at no extra cost.
With the Nintendo Music app, users can stream songs directly or download tracks for offline listening. You can loop your favourite music for longer sessions, extending certain songs to 15, 30, or even 60 minutes. Plus, the app makes it easy to search by game title or playlist and even filter out potential spoilers.
The app also lets users create personal playlists, browse curated collections by Nintendo, and get song recommendations based on their play history. New music will continue to be added over time.
The Nintendo Music app is available now in Canada and the U.S., accessible through both Nintendo Switch Online and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack memberships. Memberships start at $4.99 CAD per month or $24.99 CAD annually.
Who had down on their 2024 bingo card that Nintendo would launch an alarm clock and now a music app?
