Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is being held in Cupertino, California, this week. The event is being live-streamed to global audiences while offering an on-site experience for developers, media and industry members.

WWDC 2026 is being held once again at Apple Park. The event kicks off with its keynote. Starting at 1 pm ET/10 am PT, Apple will unveil a series of updates and announcements. As history has shown, WWDC is typically software-focused.

WWDC 2026 is likely to be where Apple unveils iOS 27. As reports have indicated, Apple may announce that the upcoming software will include a dedicated split-screen mode via a new “App Adaptation” system. iOS 27 might also make tweaks to Apple’s Liquid Glass UI. Changes to the Weather and Camera app are also expected.

It’s also here that Apple is likely to show off its massive Siri overhaul. It’s been claimed that the new version will include a true AI chatbot feature. There may also be more natural interactions between the user and Siri to help create shortcuts in the Shortcuts app. With deeper integrations, a new Ask Siri toggle may be available.

Alongside iOS 27 and a new version of Siri, Apple is expected to announce macOS 27, watchOS 27, iPadOS 27, and more.

It is possible that some hardware announcements were made as well. Though these are less common, Apple focuses on software announcements before a week-long conference takes place.

If you want to tune in and watch the livestream, you can do so on Apple’s website or through the Apple TV app. You can also check out the official YouTube account.
