Samsung Canada Adds Monthly Payment Option to Samsung Care+

Samsung Care+ is now available to Canadian users in monthly payment installments. Available now, anyone looking to protect their new Galaxy S26 or other Galaxy device can purchase protection on a monthly basis on top of the existing 12 and 24-month plan options.
The new Samsung Care+ plan options became available on June 15th, meaning that any new Galaxy device purchased can be covered by device protection each month without an annual commitment. The device protection plan covers everything from a Galaxy smartphone to the Galaxy Tab series, Galaxy Watch, and Galaxy Book laptops.
Samsung Care+ offers device protection in the event of accidental drops, water or other liquid damage, malfunctions, and battery replacement. While all Galaxy devices come with a manufacturer’s warranty, Samsung Care+ is designed to protect devices against accidental damage. With Samsung Care+ protection, users gain unlimited repairs for cracks, drops, and spills. There are also unlimited repairs for out-of-warranty breakdowns. Users can also request a free battery replacement once the device no longer charges to more than 80 percent. Much like Apple Care+ or Google’s Preferred Care plans, Samsung’s Premium device protection also covers users against theft and loss, with 2 claims per year.
“With the introduction of our new monthly Samsung Care+ plan, we’re providing Galaxy users with even greater flexibility to access the protection and support they need, while helping ensure they can enjoy their devices with confidence,” said Raj Doshi, Head of Mobile at Samsung Electronics Canada. The company claims that it sees up to a 30 percent increase in repair calls during the summer months as Canadians are often hanging out by pools, patios and cottages, where smartphones are more likely to incur damage.
Users can purchase a Samsung Care+ plan at the time of purchase when they buy a device from Samsung directly. Alternatively, you can add the device protection plan within 60 days of device purchase.
