Public Mobile Just Launched a New Canada Day Plan. It’s Gone in a Week.

Telus-owned Public Mobile has launched a “Canada Day exclusive” plan, that’s available from now until July 1.

The plan is a $35/80GB offering with 5G data speeds for use in Canada only. It has 40GB more than the existing $35/40GB plan, but the latter offers US and Mexico roaming plus 1,000 international minutes. This could be a way to push people towards the $35/40GB roaming plan as that offers more value if you have summer travel plans.

Freedom Mobile currently has a $35 plan with 25GB data, which includes 1GB of global roaming for talk, text and data.
