Pre Orders for LEGO’s 2,300-Piece Poké Ball Are Now Open

The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company are launching five new sets for Pokémon fans. This includes a stunning 2,300-piece ‘ Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball’ set that opens up. These new sets will start shipping later this summer.

The standout set from the new collection is the Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball, which includes 2,368 pieces that build a large Poké Ball. With the ability to open and close the set, Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball hides a full-fledged scene within. While the set is open, you can find Professor Oak’s laboratory hidden in the top portion, while the bottom is reserved for a battle between Red and a Picnicker.

The Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball comes with three minifigs, including Professor Oak, Red, and a Picnicker, as well as Pikachu and Eevee figures. Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball is available to pre-order for $419 in Canada and ships on October 1st.

A LEGO globe opened to reveal a detailed indoor scene with minifigures, furniture, and greenery on a teal table in a living room setting.

In addition to the Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball, The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company reveal new Arcanine, Rayquaza, and Munchlax sets. Each one comes with a varying supply of bricks to build these fan-favourite Pokémon.

Arcanine, for instance, comes with a whopping 1,190 pieces, making it the most robust out of the trio for $148.99. The 1,083-piece Rayquaza set is also available to pre-order for $175.99. Rounding out the trio is Munchlax, which comes with 757 pieces for $94.99. All three sets begin shipping on August 1st.

Finally, a really novel up-scaled Red minifigure is also launching. The 930-piece set takes the standard minifig, the same one that’s included in the Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball set, and scales it up to be larger. You’ll be able to build everything from the legs, arms, hat, and even a small Poké Ball. The Up-Scaled Red Minifigure can be pre-ordered for $107.99 ahead of its October 1st release.
