Telus-owned prepaid brand Public Mobile has revamped its plans ahead of the back to school season.

The company added expiry labels to its 5G plans yesterday, indicating changes would be coming today. Here are the new 5G plans as of today:

So what changed? The $35 plan loses US-Mexico roaming and 1,000 international minutes, but gains 10GB of data. The other $40, $45 and $50 plans have seen their data buckets slashed by 30GB to 50GB, but its international minutes remain. As you can see, this week the 4G plans also saw changes.

Again, once the real back to school season hits in August, expect ‘better’ deals to arrive.
