Amazon Canada Launches ‘Add to Delivery’ Feature. Here’s How It Works.

Amazon Prime members in Canada can now add last-minute items to an order that is already on its way. The retail giant has officially launched a new feature called Add to Delivery, designed to save shoppers from placing multiple orders when they forget a staple item.
You may have seen this implemented over the past few days but it’s now official. We noticed this on the weekend and were surprised to see it. Now we know why.
The tool appears as a blue button on eligible product detail pages within the Amazon app and the mobile version of Amazon.ca. With a single tap, users can combine items like electronics, clothing, or pantry goods into an existing shipment without going through the standard checkout process again.
There are no extra shipping fees for using the service. If a shopper changes their mind after tapping the button, the addition can be cancelled immediately or through the standard order history page before the package ships. You can see in the screenshot there’s a “Cancel order” option if you change your mind.
The feature is available immediately across Canada for Prime subscribers. It’s a way for Amazon to make it easier for you to add items to your next delivery, with just one tap.
