Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Nintendo Direct Announced for August 4

Nintendo has announced a Direct live stream presentation for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 title Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. On August 4, eager players can learn more about the title ahead of its launch.
Announced on X (formerly Twitter), Nintendo revealed that the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Direct features “roughly 20 minutes of new information about the game.” This will be the largest sneak peek we’ve gotten at the game since its launch. The last time Nintendo shared new information about the game was during its June Direct live stream.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is the latest mainline title in the franchise. It is the eighth mainline title in the franchise, taking place in the Fire Emblem: Three Houses universe. The game follows the critically acclaimed title from 2019. As such, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave incorporates similar mechanics to Three Houses.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is once again a tactical RPG, where players take on the role of one of four protagonists. At the start of the game, players can choose to play as Cai, Theodora, Dietrich, or Leda. Each character has their own storyline and narrative. The game revolves around the Heroic Games, where players participate to earn their desired wish. In between battles, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave allows players to explore Dagsion, the game’s setting, as well as recruit new allies and form bonds.
With 20 minutes dedicated to the Direct, expect to see a lot of new gameplay and footage from Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave.
You can watch the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Direct on Nintendo’s website and official YouTube channel at 10 AM ET/7 AM PT on August 4th.
