No Name Mobile Quietly Cuts Data on Its Top Plan Just Days Later

Person holds a smartphone with a bright yellow screen reading'no name' in the foreground, No Frills supermarket signage and produce aisle in the background.

No Name Mobile (which runs on the Bell network) just can’t make up its mind it seems. One week after increasing data on its most expensive plan, it has now cut back data once again.

Here are No Name Mobile’s plans as of August 7, 2026:

  • $19/2GB
  • $25/6GB
  • $30/30GB
  • $35/35GB (was 45GB)

As you can see, the $35 plan now reverts back to 35GB of data, instead of 45GB. The change took place on Wednesday according to checks by iPhone in Canada.

So why decrease data? That way when promos actually come, it just looks better seeing data increase compared to before.

Other prepaid carrier such as Public Mobile have a better offering when it comes to a $35 plan, as you can get US and Mexico roaming included, despite only having 25GB of data.
