Apple Releases iOS 27 Beta 7 Download and More for Developers

Apple has seeded iOS 27 developer beta 7 and more to testers, one week after beta 6. Here’s what’s available to download right now:

Apple is weeks away from the September iPhone event, so beta 7 is more likely a polish and bug-fix build than a feature dump. Earlier builds carried the bigger changes, such as every new feature in iOS 27 beta 5.

Beta software can still chew through battery (this is happening to us here with iOS 27 beta, as expected) and break some apps, so this belongs on a spare iPhone if you have one. But overall, no other major bugs, so it’s been smooth sailing. The public release is still expected in September with the new iPhones 18 Pro and iPhone Fold (or whatever it will be called).
