New Apple CEO John Ternus Just Posted on X for the First Time
New Apple CEO John Ternus officially took the reigns from Tim Cook today, and to kick off his new gig he also posted on X for the first time.
What did Ternus write? He just said a simple “hello” about an hour ago (seemingly paying homage to the first Mac message back in 1984). Since then, the post has seen 1.6 million views in just under an hour.
Since his first post, his follower count is also increasing by the second, now at just over 72,000 and counting. When we followed Ternus on X, he had just over 8,000 followers. He has a long way to go to catch up to Cook who is at 19.8 million.
Ternus’ account is showing he just joined in June of this year. I’m guessing his follower count will easily hit 1 million before the end of the week.
At Apple’s iPhone event next week, Ternus is set to take the stage and lead the company into its next era. We can’t wait to see what Ternus will bring at Apple, now that Cook is no longer CEO.
