Samsung Connect Kicks Off at IFA 2026 in Berlin
At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Samsung has opened its dedicated exhibition hub dubbed Samsung Connect. Running from September 2 to September 6, the temporary installation gives visitors a hands-on look at the company’s latest 1100Hz monitor, new Galaxy devices, and AI home gear.
Among the hardware highlights on display is a suite of industry-first gaming monitors. Leading the pack is the Odyssey G60H, a 27-inch panel that stands as the world’s first 1100Hz gaming monitor, targeting high-level competitive esports players who need extreme refresh rates.
Samsung also showcased the Odyssey G75SJ, a 42-inch curved 4K OLED monitor, along with a updated 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9 running at 360Hz with DQHD resolution. Additionally, the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 brings UHD visuals and Triple Mode support to gamers looking for fluid, high-resolution performance.
On the home entertainment side, Samsung marked two decades as the top global television brand by highlighting its Micro RGB display technology, which uses microscopic red, green, and blue LEDs to improve colour accuracy and contrast. The company also introduced Vision AI Companion, a conversational assistant built directly into its 2026 TV series.
In mobile computing, visitors can test out the recently revealed Galaxy S26 FE, which ships out of the box running One UI 9 alongside camera-focused Galaxy AI tools. Samsung also used the Berlin show to unveil a new 14-inch Galaxy Book6 laptop. Powered by Intel Core 3 and Core 5 processors, the notebook promises up to 25 hours of local video playback while bringing Galaxy AI productivity features to a lower price point in the lineup.
Speaking on stage during the opening presentation, Benjamin Braun, Chief Marketing Officer for Samsung Europe, emphasised that practical utility remains the driving force behind the brand’s software strategy. “AI should deliver tangible benefits that people can see and experience in their everyday lives,” Braun stated.
Finally, the exhibit covers connected home appliances with a look at upcoming Bespoke AI Washer models in 10kg and 13kg capacities.
