Roku and the National Football League have announced a major international expansion of the NFL Zone, taking the popular centralized sports hub outside the U.S. and launching it directly into Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
The move gives American football fans a dedicated destination on their Roku home screens to discover live games, upcoming schedules, game highlights, official video clips, and streaming content throughout the football season.
Alongside the hub rollout, the partners are also bringing the NFL Channel, the league’s free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) destination, to viewers in Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and the United Kingdom. This expansion marks the very first time international football fans can access the league’s 24/7 broadcast coverage completely for free on Roku platforms.
The international rollout builds directly upon Roku’s deliberate efforts to expand its dedicated Sports experience globally. Roku originally launched its specialized Sports hub in Mexico, followed by rollouts in Brazil and Canada.
Depending on where viewers are located, the NFL Zone offers tailored features designed to aggregate local football broadcast options into a single dashboard:
