Beat ’em Up Sifu Arrives on iOS and Android on October 12th

One of the best martial arts games of the past few years is about to fit in your pocket. Sloclap is bringing Sifu to iPhone, iPad, and Android on October 12.
As the official Sifu account announced, the beloved game will launch on the App Store and Play Store with a redesigned control scheme built specifically for mobile devices.
Originally released in 2022, Sifu is a third-person action game built around Pak-Mei Kung Fu. Players embark on a revenge mission against the people responsible for murdering their family, fighting through nightclubs, galleries, office buildings and other environments.
The same action, the same aura, the same atmosphere. Now in the palm of your hands.

Sifu’s combat emphasizes timing, positioning and learning from failure. Players need to dodge, parry and string together attacks while using objects and weapons scattered throughout each environment.
Death also works differently in Sifu. A mysterious amulet revives the protagonist after being defeated, but doing so causes them to age. Repeated deaths can therefore make subsequent encounters considerably more complicated.
For mobile, Sloclap isn’t simply dropping virtual buttons over the existing game. The developer says Sifu has been adapted with new touchscreen controls, enhanced contextual interactions and a reworked camera system. Full controller support is also included for anyone who would rather recreate the console experience on their iPhone or iPad.
Importantly, the mobile release contains the complete story campaign rather than a condensed version designed for smartphones. The App Store listing shows a 2.1GB download and requires iOS or iPadOS 18.0 or later. It’s also compatible with Apple silicon Macs and Apple Vision Pro. Game Center achievements and Family Sharing are supported. Android users can meanwhile pre-register through Google Play.
Sifu launches for iPhone, iPad and Android on October 12. It’s already available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
