Ring Launches 5 New Security Cameras in Canada, Including 4K Models

Ring's new 4K camera lineup, including the Outdoor Camera 4K Plus, Spotlight Camera 4K Plus, Floodlight Camera 4K Plus, Indoor Camera 4K and Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera 2K

Ring expanded its home security lineup on October 7 with five new cameras, including four models with its Retinal Vision 4K technology and a new indoor pan-tilt camera that can automatically follow motion around a room.

All five are coming to Canada. The Ring Outdoor Camera 4K Plus, Ring Spotlight Camera 4K Plus and Ring Floodlight Camera 4K Plus are available for preorder, while the Ring Indoor Camera 4K and Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera 2K are available to buy starting today.

The Ring Outdoor Camera 4K Plus costs $169.99 CAD and offers the most flexibility when it comes to installation. It can run on battery or solar power, and also supports plug-in, hardwired and PoE+ setups. The camera uses Ring’s Retinal Vision 4K technology and is available for preorder in Canada.

The Ring Spotlight Camera 4K Plus is priced at $279.99 CAD and combines 4K video with a built-in 550-lumen spotlight. It can be powered by battery, plug-in or solar and is also available for preorder.

For larger outdoor areas, the Ring Floodlight Camera 4K Plus costs $319.99 CAD. It adds dual floodlights producing 2,000 lumens and supports 24/7 recording, along with Ring’s 4K video and smart detection features. Canadian customers can preorder it starting today.

The Ring Indoor Camera 4K brings Retinal Vision 4K indoors for $109.99 CAD. It has a 115-degree field of view, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and a physical privacy shutter. Unlike the three outdoor 4K Plus models, the Indoor Camera 4K is available to purchase in Canada starting today.

The Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera 2K is priced at $99.99 CAD and offers 360-degree horizontal coverage with 175 degrees of tilt. Its computer vision-based motion tracking is designed to keep moving people, pets or objects in view. It records in 2K and includes a physical privacy shutter that disables both the camera and microphone when closed.
