Apple’s first foldable iPhone is now available to pre-order in Canada, with prices starting at $2,999 CAD. Pre-orders opened Friday morning at 5 a.m. Pacific (8 a.m. Eastern).
The new iPhone Duo is Apple’s most expensive iPhone yet, with the top-end 2TB model costing $4,799 before taxes. Customers can place their orders directly through Apple Canada or use the Apple Store app.
Apple is offering the iPhone Duo in two colours, Star White and Night Sky, with four storage options:
The iPhone Duo features a 7.6-inch folding display that opens like a book, along with a 5.4-inch outer screen for everyday use. It’s powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip and includes a 48MP dual-camera system.
The iPhone Duo is eSIM-only, meaning there’s no physical SIM card slot, which falls in line with what we saw with the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 lineup last year.
Apple is advertising financing starting at $124.96 per month over 24 months, subject to approval. Trade-in credits are also available for eligible devices.
Deliveries and in-store availability begin next Friday, October 23. Customers hoping to get their hands on one that day should check the estimated delivery or pickup date during checkout, as availability can change depending on the model.
At nearly $3,000 to start before taxes, Apple’s first folding iPhone certainly isn’t cheap. But if you’ve been waiting years for Apple to make a foldable, you can finally order one, if you’re ready to empty your wallet.
