Grok Bot Gets Major Update With New Features and X Chat Support

SpaceXSI (formerly SpaceXAI) has rolled out a big update to Grok Bot, adding more app integrations, email support, better voice calls and the ability to work with messages on X. The company announced eight updates on Friday, with changes to how Grok Bot looks, works and handles everyday tasks.
For starters, the interface has been cleaned up. Chat cards now have simpler layouts, checkboxes and a Done button. There’s also a new font, new themes and improvements to speed and overall performance.
Voice calls should be faster and more reliable too. Grok Bot can also better remember previous conversations, so you won’t have to explain the same things over and over.
One of the more useful additions is email support. Users can now set up aliases such as my-bot+ne*********@**********ot.com and create routines that only run when an email arrives at that address.
Grok Bot is also adding more connectors, including Robinhood, Coinbase, Trello, PostHog, beehiiv and eToro. There’s a new connector marketplace where teams can submit their own integrations.
The update comes as more companies push into AI assistants that can handle tasks for users, including OpenAI’s Dots, which recently joined the competition.
Notifications are getting a small but welcome change. Instead of buzzing multiple devices, Grok Bot will now send alerts only to the device you’re currently using.
There’s also support for X Chat. Users can connect their X accounts and let Grok Bot read and work with their messages, making it possible to handle tasks involving conversations on X.
Grok Bot launched on iPad back in September. With these latest additions, it’s becoming more useful for people who want an AI assistant to handle email, messages and tasks across different apps.
