Angry Birds Had Over 30+ Million Game Downloads During Christmas Week

Rovio announced this morning the company experienced a huge Christmas season for game downloads. During Christmas week (Dec. 22-29), the company experienced 30 million game downloads, with 8 million alone on Christmas Day:

To top it all off, we had 30 million downloads during Christmas week (December 22-29) and, on Christmas Day, over 8 million downloads in 24 hours alone!

Below is an infographic of the continued success of the Angry Birds franchise, which is pretty impressive considering the game’s concept has stayed the same. It’s those damn themes that suck everybody back in. According to the graphic below, there was one Angry Birds download for every other new device:
