Costco for iOS has been updated today to now grant access to a Digital Membership Card on your iPhone for users in Canada. This means at the checkout, you can just show a digital card within the Costco app, instead of taking out your physical Costco card.
“Your membership card is now available on the Costco app. Enter the warehouse and begin checkout at the register by using the Digital Membership Card on your phone,” reads the Costco iOS app update today.
In order to set up your Costco Digital Membership Card, you need to visit the membership counter at your local warehouse or call 1-800-463-3783. We haven’t had time to verify our membership yet (the call centre is closed now), so we don’t know if support for the Apple Wallet app is available or not.
