Dairy Queen for iOS has been updated to support mobile ordering in Canada.
In today’s 2.0 update for the Dairy Queen iOS app in Canada, it explains, “Mobile ordering? Check. Delicious rewards? Check! Now you can place mobile orders and redeem rewards at participating DQ locations. Stay tuned for more updates, coming soon!”
In our quick tests, while the app shows steps to start a mobile order, no Dairy Queen locations in Victoria, Vancouver or Toronto showed support for mobile orders. Let us know if you can find a store that supports this.
Dairy Queen locations in the United States have supported mobile ordering since last year.
While we couldn’t find locations in our quick search for stores that supported mobile orders, users can be notified if their nearby store begins supporting the new feature, which is slowly becoming commonplace in Canada.
We’ve reached out to the company to get a list of supported mobile ordering locations and will update this post accordingly. Stay tuned.
Update June 24, 6:50 PT: A Dairy Queen spokesperson told iPhone in Canada via email mobile ordering is only available in sekect Alberta cities for now: Sherwood Park, Innisfail, Strathmore, Drayton Valley.
